The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) has launched its 2019 Stakeholder Survey, providing the opportunity for teachers, school leaders and the entire education sector to voice their views.
AITSL Acting CEO Edmund Misson encouraged those with a desire to positively impact student learning across Australia to get involved with the survey.
“Your views will help inform and guide the national effort to support excellence in teaching and school leadership in every Australian school,” Mr Misson said.
“Evidence, collaboration and consultation with the profession are at the heart of our work and through the AITSL Stakeholder Survey, we want to hear from as many people and organisations as possible.”
Mr Misson said that the survey will provide the organisation with a fresh perspective on its work, how the tools and resources it co-develops with the profession are used, and how teachers and school leaders can get the most out of them.
“From pre-service and practising teachers to school leaders, teacher education providers, regulatory authorities, professional associations, peak bodies – and everybody in between – we are urging all involved in Australian education to have their say.”
The confidential responses to the online survey will inform AITSL’s current and future work, as it continues to work with the Federal Government, all states and territories, systems and sectors, to provide high quality education systems for students.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. To take part or find out more, please click here.
