20,000 additional Commonwealth supported places

The Australian Government has committed to delivering a one-off boost of 20,000 commencing Commonwealth Supported Places, 10,000 places (EFTSL) to commence from 2023 and a further 10,000 to commence from 2024. The additional places will address skill shortages and give more students from under-represented backgrounds the opportunity to attain a higher education qualification.

School psychologist scholarships now open

The scholarship, through the NSW Department of Education for a Masters in Professional Psychology, offers eligible applicants up to $30,000 in tuition allowance for full-time, full-fee-paying students, $1,500 textbook and incidentals allowance, supervised practicum placements in schools and ongoing professional support for registration as a psychologist. Graduates taking a place in a rural or regional school receive up to $6,000 to support their relocation if needed.
