On 26 March 2022, the Hon Stuart Robert MP, Minister for Employment, Workforce, Skills, Small and Family Business announced the 42 successful projects to receive funding through round three of the Partnership Grants program.
Round three of the program offered Australian government funded grants between $20,000 and $350,000 for up to 12 months for organisations to deliver innovative projects that facilitate career opportunities and career pathways for women.
These projects will create greater awareness of career pathways and career information with a focus on women returning to work from a career break, women in non-traditional industries and occupations, or industries where women are under-represented.
The National Careers Institute’s (NCI) Partnership Grants program is a key part of the Australian Government’s Delivering Skills for Today and Tomorrow package announced in the 2019-20 Federal budget.
The Partnership Grants program provides funding for organisations such as employers, training providers, schools and community organisations to work collaboratively to improve career outcomes and create education and training pathways for Australians.
The successful organisations will deliver projects that create greater awareness of career pathways and career information for women with a focus on women returning to work from a career break, women in non-traditional industries and occupations, or industries where women are under-represented.
