School transportation management company, StudentSafe AU, is building its connections with school business administrators, recently participating in two conferences in NSW.
The company sponsored the Catholic Education Business Administrators (CEBA) conference and attended the Association of School Business Administrators (ASBA) conference. Both events were held in NSW in October.
Partnerships Director Mr Kristian Brennan said StudentSafe AU was delighted to sponsor its first CEBA event this year.
“Hosted at the International Convention Centre Sydney on 2-4 October, the event was a fantastic gateway to better understanding the needs of Catholic schools across Australia,” Mr Brennan said.
“It provided invaluable insights into these institutions’ challenges and opportunities, and we had the chance to engage with the broader education community meaningfully.”
Mr Brennan said the team-building activities were a highlight, fostering connections between sponsors and delegates in fun and engaging ways.
“Add to that some incredible music, entertainment, and a lively dinner – it made for an unforgettable evening! We met many wonderful people, built lasting connections, and brought home many fresh ideas.”
The ASBA NSW conference, held on 8-10 October, was StudentSafe AU’s fourth ASBA event this year.
“Held at Panthers in Port Macquarie, the atmosphere was one of excitement and familiarity. It felt like reconnecting with old friends as we crossed paths with many familiar faces among fellow exhibitors and sponsors,” Mr Brennan said.
“One standout moment was the Sponsor session – a 30-second lightning pitch. It was a whirlwind of fast-paced fun that left everyone buzzing.
“The session was a great way to break the ice and paved the way for some meaningful follow-up conversations during networking breaks. These interactions were fun and productive, leading to follow-up calls and meetings that are already fruitful.”
Mr Brennan thanked professional conference organisers, ICMSA, who managed both events.
“From the engaging conference sessions to the well-curated networking opportunities, it was clear that much thought and care went into every detail,” he said.
“We’ve emerged from both events energised by the new opportunities and the fantastic people we met.”
Looking ahead, StudentSafe AU is planning to attend the ASBA National Conference from 20-23 May 2025 at the Darwin Convention Centre.
“This event promises to be big, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going,” Mr Brennan said.
