Developing systemic excellence in STEM education was identified as one of three main areas for action in the Government of South Australia’s DECD preschool to year 12 STEM Learning Strategy. As part of this, a Year 7 and 8 STEM collaborative inquiry project has been launched to design, trial and evaluate innovative approaches to STEM learning.
Several schools from the state’s Upper Mid North region have collaborated with industry to see how STEM can be used in the real world to help create a sustainable future.
