Principal of Merredin College in regional WA, Lynne Herbert, talks about how the school has incorporated virtual reality into its classrooms.
The school is located approximately 300 kilometres east of Perth, in WA’s Wheatbelt region, and is part of the state’s Teacher Development Schools initiative and Innovation Partnership Schools program, which promote the sharing of knowledge and innovation across schools.
Ms Herbert discusses the importance of preparing students for the future world, which will be very different to the world they know today.
